Northampton Saints vs Doncaster Knights

Hendy charges down a kick close to the right touchline and it bounces nicely for him to arch a run in to score try number 12 for Saints,

McBryde smacks a penalty kick to the Saints 22, where they will throw into the lineout. It's over the top and Smith takes Saints forward, offloading to Hendy who makes 25 brilliant metres. Millar-Mills carries strong into the 22 before James feeds Ramm, who survives a tackle, steps inside and runs in from ten metres out. 

Saints attempt to break up the blindside but a pass doesn't go to hand, with the post unguarded, Simpson scoops up and runs in for Doncaster's second try down the left wing and score.

Murphy rips the ball from Saints' grasp close to the line but it spills behind the goalline, where Munga is first to it. There's a TMO check, and the score is given!

... keeps up the good work of Smith by adding the conversion.

McParland has a hat-trick sealing try! Pearson carries from halfway and into the Doncaster half, wriggling free of tacklers and with one boot on, fixes his man and puts his scrum-half in for a clear run under the posts.

Saints are flying now! Smith reads a Doncaster pass in midfield and runs home from 45 metres out to score a brilliant interception try.

McParland has his second of the game with a sniping run off the back of a scrum from 10 metres out, in similar fashion to Danny Care last night!

Graham goes over against his former club! Matavesi frees one arm to offload out the back door for Graham to finish from close range. It all came from a loose Doncaster kick and a strong return from Smith and Graham as well as a brilliant run from Langdon that got Doncaster on the backfoot.

Smith is kicking well from the tee, and from hand, as he lands a diagonal kick into the Doncaster 22. Saints turn over the ball with a Moon charge down. The home side swarm and Pearson looks like he's in for a hattrick sealing try but offloads well for McParland to dive over.

Doncaster over throw their lineout where Langdon collects as a rear gunner and bundles his way to within a metre of the line, from the recycle, Pearson powers over for his second try of the half.

Doncaster are on the scoreboard. Saints are defending their own line and with penalty advantage, Knights go wide and it's loose, Olver scoops up loose ball and kicks crossfield and backwards and Holden takes out of the air and feeds Davey to go over in the left corner.

A massive carry from Pearson get Saints on the front foot and then it's all about McParland's superb linking play, receiving a pass and feeding Furbank down an unguarded channel to run in from 35 metres out.

Saints have their opening try and it's a beauty! After a period of strong carries in the 22, Alex Waller combines with Furbank who loops a sublime pass to Pearson who steps in off the wing and powers his over in the left corner.
