Nick Tarr joined Northampton Saints’ Senior Academy on a full-time basis ahead of the 2022/23 season, putting pen to paper on his first professional contract in April 2022.

The prop was part of the Club’s Under-18s side which reached the final of Premiership Rugby’s Academy League during the 2021/22 campaign.

Tarr joined Saints at Under-16 level having arrived in England from South Africa, and after transitioning from a No.8/lock to the front row, earned honours with England Under-18s.

The former Bedford Junior Blues and Mark Rutherford School player also headed to the Under-18s Six Nations with the Red Rose in 2022 having impressed at the same level in Black, Green and Gold.
